Philadelphia based musician Chris Alan is no stranger to the exciting world of live music. His original songs have been described as soothing, captivating, and melodic. Chris Alan’s first song was written after losing a close friend tragically which later had a ripple effect leading to other unique works that have made an impression in the music scene.
During a breakout year in 2022, the catchy original song “Philly Town” aired on CBS during a marketing campaign to promote the Philadelphia Eagles and the CBS network. The song was produced by Philadelphia’s own David Ivory, a grammy-nominated producer and multi-platinum engineer (The Roots, Halestorm, Erika Badu). The song was then played live in the Bucks County Fever Talent show in 2023 organized by the Chamber of Commerce, winning first place for best song and performance of the evening.
Chris Alan has shared the stage with Ike (John Faye), Rausch, Craig Thatcher, and Christine Ohlman of Saturday Night Live. His songs are catchy and grab the listener right away with themes of love, hope, tragedy, and life’s struggles. You can catch him playing during weekends at local venues with the talented Roger Kuhn who complements Chris’s original songs with his soulful harmonies and precise guitar work. Together they play original songs and covers from multiple genres that people have loved over the past decades, which have inspired their own original music. Chris Alan’s music entertainment has been providing steady live performances for both public and private events in Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, and Philadelphia counties ever since he began his passion for music.
